Date Language & First Day of Week

Show dates in English on a watch set to another language, and choose which day your week starts on.

Date language

Go to Advanced options → Date language, and choose it to switch between:

• System: uses your watch language.
• English: always English.

This only changes the names of days and months, and am/pm. Nothing else on the watchface changes.

First day of week

Go to Advanced options → First day of week, and choose it to switch between System, Sunday, Monday and Saturday. System uses the setting of your watch.

This changes:

• Fields that show Current Week, like weekly steps or distance.
• The %w and %V codes in Custom Date & Time Formats.
• Watchfaces that show the days of the week in order.

Good to know

• These two settings apply to all your profiles.
• With System, day and month names are available in Czech, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. In other languages they are in English.
